The paved road ends some 800m lower (in elevation terms) than the place
where the 4x4 road ends. I was lucky enough to get a lift from a Jeep
only after one minute of hitchhiking! In the car was a Park Ranger which
went to the campground at the end of the road to pick up the trash and do
some maintenance. Besides avoiding walking a lot on the road we also had
a chat for some half an hour. The picture is shaky because of the difficult
road.
