Each fort had also an auxilliary building which probably was used to verify
incoming people. It's a single room construction which lies some 100m from
the main fort. This one, near Forte Pernante, is totally destroyed but
interesting enough it still has the original window arches (unless they've
been re-made). Further away, to the left, Forte Centrale and Colle di Tenda.
