Here the ring nearly closes and are visible the valley which I climbed
(Valmorta; to the left; the u-turns in the woods are visible, in the lower-left
corner of the image), the first part of the ring climbing lightly from Valmorta
to Prefouns valley and the valley itself; the glacial character of Prefouns is
very visible, with water flowing smoothly in the upper part but rapidly in the
lower part where the glacier 'ate' the former valley bed.
