This time I preffered a trail on one of the two ridges which border
the valley. I've climbed from the Mahogany Flat campground (2479m) to the
Rogers Peak (3046m). The first half of the trail through the forest (yes,
there are trees in the Death Valley! However only above 2000m) and the second
in bare terrain.
