Descending on the paved road towards Cabana Capra I was bemused seeing a driver
climbing the Transfagarasan road. I thought that it would stop at the Capra
Chalet but he continued. Knowing that the road is blocked by a big snow
deposit I wanted to see how the driver will react. It advanced as long as
the road permitted, until he realised that he has to turn around. The white
car is visible in the lower-right part. Poor guy! However the roadsigns at the
exit from Pitesti and Curtea de Arges clearly stated that the road was
CLOSED, open until km102 (Piscu Negru).
