While having the same markings the ascent and the descent followed quite different trails. The climb between Timisu de Jos and Cristianu Mare summit was a wild, infrequently travelled, weed infested and sunny trail. The descent to Tampei Saddle then Brasov was much gentler, very frequented and under a very strong storm.
