We're on a slope on the southern margin of the Laitel Mountain. As we look
downwards to our left flows the Paltinu and to our right the Caltun river; they
both carry marked trails. Just ahead, further down, is the Paltinu River, after
engulfing the waters of Caltun. The Piscu Negru Chalet is about 10 minutes from
the othermost margin of the clearing.
