Just before rejoining the planned trail. Down the valley is visible Limone,
my departure point. The mountain which guartds the other side of the valley,
visible here in the foreground with a 'wound' made by a former quarry
is Monte Vecchio (1908m) which I climbed several times, during
december 2003
I took a picture of the mountain where I'm trekking today -

Costa Rossa is to the left in that photo.
In the background one can see the high mountains bordering Gesso valley;
I went there three times in 2005. The tallest summit there is Argentera at
3297m.
