After the difficult terrain along Valea lui Stan this clearing is a
more-than-welcome oasis. The height is 1048m and not 1150m as it's written
in the Natura Romaniei article; this doesn't make that article less useful;
the article helped me a lot in identifying the trail and I recommend it to
anyone wishing to cross the valley.
