From the Valea Larga railway station we arrived on the paved Drumul National 1 then climbed the left bank (southern) of Valea lui Bogdan to a spring below Razoare peak at some 1430m elevation ; here we did split, a party of 7 continuing upwards and northwards to end at Sinaia over Plaiul Gagu while our party of 10 contiuned towards south, towards Doamnele peak then descending to Posada via Piciorul Florei . The weather was incredibly warm, sunny nearly all the time, and around 1500-1600m of elevation the snow was present only in patches!
