Here I decided to turn around; the high and tough snow made the progress
difficult. In this switchback one can see the snow covering the trail going
up (to the left) with a layer over a meter thick; also the trail going down
(to the right) has also over a meter of snow.
Some seven years ago I trekked the same trail
but one month earlier and then I was able to climb further as the snow was
soft.
