In the same day the Piatra Craiului Marathon took place, with more than
400 contestants at the starting line. At Umerii Pietrei Craiului we met
some contest officials and talked a bit. Between Umerii and Marele Grohotis
we did met some runners. From our discussions with the officials the elicopter
was related to the contest; it flew over the places where we just been less
than an hour before; the forest visible in the picture is next to the trail
from Poiana Tamasel to Umeri.
