I felt really sorry for this dog (with a chain) and another two which were
roaming around the Diham chalet. They were so hungry! They were the only
dogs which I fed from my palm with a bit of fear; they were so desperate for
food and I was afraid for them not to mistakenly try one of my fingers too.
Otherwise the dog from the picture seemed very 'civilised' and he somehow
accepted his fate of being tied to the chain.
