Around the altitude of 1560m the trail which climbs from Piscu Negru crosses
the Lespezi stream. Immediately afterwards, on the opposite side, it splits:
The red dot trail (which I've used today for going up) climbs alongside the
valley until it reaches a southwards ridge; the yellow cross trail (which I
took when returning) climbs more gently up to the Podeanu-Florea Saddle.
