Here the alpine part of the valley ends; further up the water flows
quietly. The device sends most of the river flow to the Vidraru lake so
before the mini-dam the river has a far bigger flow. The height here is
856m above sea level and not 950m as it's wrongly stated in the Natura
Romaniei article.
