The initial plan was to descend from Saua Crapaturii to Curmatura chalet then
to Zarnesti via Gura Raului (the southern half of the Small Circuit). As
it was 19h05 when we reached (quite late) Crapaturii saddle we preferred
to walk the other way, still yellow stripe but northwards, thru Crapaturii
valley (the northern half of the Small Circuit). We walked at an alert pace
the whole valley in 1h20, counted from Crapaturii saddle up to the
junction with the blue stripe (929m elevation) where we passed also eight
hours ago.
